Recommended Processing Considerations
Drying: Farrprene TPE typically does not require drying before processing, but if moisture absorption is a concern, drying at 60-80°C for 2-4 hours is recommended.
Melt Temperature: Optimize melt temperature based on the specific grade and equipment, generally ranging from 180°C to 220°C.
Injection Pressure: High injection pressure is usually required for TPEs due to their pseudo-plastic behavior. Adjust based on mold complexity and part thickness.
Cooling Time: Relatively short cooling times are achievable due to the thermoplastic nature of TPEs, leading to higher productivity.
| Processing Guidelines | Value |
