Recommended Processing Considerations
Addition: Macrotone Cling Masterbatch should be dry blended with the base polymer resin before feeding into the extruder. Ensure homogeneous mixing.
Dosage: The recommended dosage typically ranges from 1% to 5% by weight, depending on the desired cling strength, film thickness, and application. Higher dosages may increase cling but could affect transparency.
Processing Temperature: Maintain standard processing temperatures for polyethylene films. Excessive temperatures should be avoided to prevent degradation of the active ingredient.
Cooling: Rapid cooling after extrusion can help set the film’s properties effectively.
